That is a really good series of shots. The fast lens serves you well on overcast days.

I can only repeat what Steven had to say. That's a sharp little camera and your composition is great.

Years back when I met my daughter in Liverpool, she was raised in NZ and I came over from California. We went to visit a cousin in Conwy and ended up in a pub on the main street. When we came out of the pub we looked straight up at the castle there all lit up. "Wow! we don't get many of those in New Zealand...."

As kids we used to ride our bikes via a ferry across the Mersey and visit the castle. Different times then though. It was wide open with rubble and fallen stones, you could go in at any time, no fees and no-one cared. We'd climb all over the walls.

Thanks for the memories.

Thanks Ken.
Almost as many castles as pubs in Wales... and alas the "freebie" days have long gone...!
