Says who?? My Kyocera M410R does not have this problem at all on either the LCD,EVF or shooting videos and neither does my Sony DSC P7. If any of my digi cams had that problem i would have given it back to the shop as i dont spend good money on a piece of kit that can not do the job right:roll:

please check your camera's settings in movie mode. I bet that with your camera "reduce flicker" is ON. Turn it off and you will take pleasant movies. I had the same problem. Then I found the warning in the instruction manual, that the "reduce flicker" mode does also reduce the picture quality and does cause overexposure with bright daylight.
