I own a C-755 UZ with Japanese Language.
1. I set the date and time correctly in the setting. It appears in all the photos I take when I view in the LCD. But if I copy them to my computer, I can't see the timestamp on my photos. Any guess?

2. I set the picture quality to 1600 x 1200 pixels. But when every time I turn off and turn on the camera it is reset to HQ (2288 x 1712). Any work around?

The time stamp isn't on the photos, it is only in the EXIF data.

If you can't find the EXIF data, thenwithin whichever photo viewing program you're using, click on the properties of the photo. In the EXIF, you'll find a bunch of info, including Shutter Speed, Aperture, ASA, Resolution, etc... - and the time, day, month, and year the photo was taken - down to the second.
