Hi folks - my first post on these forums

Im finding that most pics i take with my stylus/mju 400 are slighlty out of focus and not very sharp at all.

this is of still objects, not of moving ones, which i could understand.

im sure i havent got that bad a case of the shakes, and it seems odd that such an expensive camera (by comparison) should present this problem.

is it something to do with the shutter speed? is it adjustable?

i notice on the menu where you can choose which 'camera mode' to select, that there isnt a 'sports' mode which would presumably have a faster shutter action.

Please dont tell me its just me - i try to hold the camera as still as possible, not only when pressing the shutter release button, but also for 2 seconds afterwards as this sometimes helps.

thank you in advance
