Hi there,

Yes there is a free program that can let you control various Olympus model cameras.

Not only will it take images but it can do a variety of other useful functions including uploading images automatically to the Web via FTP.

SO you can see the high quality of this software here are some nice beach and shoreline sitesbeing documentedwith this software. These cams all use the Olympus C-5060.

Alternative products (not free) are inPhoto Olympus for Olympus camera control and inPhoto Canon for Canon cameras control. Both can work as TWAIN driver.

so this does what exactly, having had a quick look at the site im not 100% sure, does it let you alter settings within the camera its self or if you have the camera hooked upto the PC yuo can then use the Pc as the remote control and have "extra" options by useing this software ?
