Default can someone explain what PRINT RESERVE is on D40z

can someone help me understand what the PRINT RESERVE function is used for on my D40zoom??? I have read the manual and still can't figure it out?

When I send pictures for printing, I just upload them to the photo developer's website..haven't had to use PRINT RESERVE function so not sure why it exists...

Basically, this is to tell a special printer that has its own card reader which pictures to print...this is all done without a computer (that's the reason you have to tell the card itself which pictures to print).

You do all the settings, cropping, etc. in the camera beforehand.

Usually with Olympus cameras there's a reference manual in PDF format on the CD...it will have a detailed description of the Print Reserve function.
