I just got a new 4mp Olympus C-765 digital camera, but so far I can't get it to take a decent picture without taking it at a high res and the downscaling it to something lower. I've attached an example photo that I took with the automatic settings. Look around the stems and the flowers, see what I mean? It's all pixelated and stuff.

I want to be able to fix this, but I don't know how. My 2mp FujiFilm gave me better pictures than this. You can also look at the EXIF data to see maybe what the problem is.

Make sure you view it at full size, not compressed in any way.

I can't view it at any size – you should check your links when you post them.

I'm guessing you must be skimping on image size – maybe to use a smaller xD card. Quality settings are often linked to size. My C50 will not shoot at best quality with smaller image sizes.
