Guys, I am a noob in camera ... Just catch up this photography hobby last month when i bought myself an Olympus C-770.

From what i read my cam image capture is using CCD ... Can someone explain to me what is CCD and is there any other kind of image capture ???

Hi Vinspire: The "CCD" (charge coupled device) is justa type of image sensor. It is a very common type of sensor that is used in many types of cameras. It's not a setting, nor anything that you can control.

For a good description and review of your camera, go to the following website link:


Download it to your computer and then study it at your leisure. You can even print out the pages as you need them.
