Default C4000Z - Bright LCD Viewer

Hi All,

Fishing for your thoughts...

The LCD viewer on my C4000Z seems very bright and beautiful...

I have been fooled a bit taking pictures in situations that require added exposure compensation...I have not been adding enough because the shots look great on the LCD review, but when I get back to the 'puter they are underexposed (sometimes even when I bracket).

1. Obviously I gotta learn to use and trust the histograms.

2. I could darken down the LCD viewer (I keep it set at the default mid-range), but actually I like it nice and bright when framing shots, etc... I guess I could figure out the right correction for it, darken it when reviewing, and brighten it back up as a viewfinder.

The obvious answer would be the histograms, I guess.
