I have sent e-mails to Olympus North America (where the camera comes from), Olympus Europe (our support zone), and Olympus South Africa (where I live).
I don't expect any positive responses from Olympus, and they don't do firmware upgrades locally, even if you offer to pay for it. Olympus Europe won't give the local support guys the software to do it.
I have an extremely negative view of Olympus' support, although I like their cameras.
I am in the market for an ultra-zoom type of camera such as the C-750z, but I don't think that I can buy Olympus again. It will have to be from a manufacturer that provides proper support, such as Canon, Nikon, Fuji, Pentax or Minolta, probably in that order.
