NHL wanted something besides candids, so I aim to oblige.

Talk about a collision of old and new, looks like a time warp right in the middle of town.
Nice foto, and the fast traffic really adds to the look of how hectic we are now,
and how simple life was back then standing right in the middle.

Exactly right....that old church, too, was bombed and badly damaged in WWII....

MonsieurMS

Just out of curiosity. Is your D7 on Auto or the ISO is set @ 100? You should be getting much better result unless you don't use the highest quality (but you use the microdrive?). I like the car's light effect also.

BTW check out theses upcoming batteries !

This was film. It's so big it magnifies every detail, but it's actually fairly sharp.

No wonder... So digital is pretty good considering!

Keep on the shootings! (My son is in Spain vacationing with the grand parents while I'm stuck at work...)

Ah, Kurfustendam...we were there about 3 years ago, staying at Hotel Pension Ditberner up the behind where this shot was taken from.

It looks like they've completed the work on the church since we were there. There used to be only half a steeple.

Nice shot! It really gives you a feeling of what the K'dam is all about. Slow and old up against the fast and new. It's also Berlin's swankiest shopping Strasse...
