Taken with a Nikon D70 and a 70-200 lens with a 2X teleconverter. I used a tripod and remote release. This was taken in the afternoon before it got dark.

That's a great shot - I would be interested to know more of how it was exposed etc

I usually use f8 at 1/500 when I shoot the moon. I also use a tripod and a cable release or a remote release.
Thank you both for your nice comments. I shoot the moon often. It is an obsession.LOL
