We had some wind in the neighborhood yesterday. Fortunately, our house was spared. Got out today and shot some pics of the damages around (until it was suggested that I was interfearing with "official" traffic). Thought I'd share a few.

This is not a tornado or huricane, just "straight line" wind (100+ mph).






























It astonishes me ... the power of nature.

Interesting shots. Glad you were not hurt. As photographs, they could use a bit more contrast or levels, at least on my screen.

Nice pics,

Guess you expect that kind of damage living so close to trees.

A relief to get out alive... and with a home intact. I cannot imagine what winds of 100mph would sound like, I only know how scared I am with 50mph lol

Gee, tremendous damage. I echo Carol's comment, good thing all are ok. Too bad about that nice , big Buick Lucerne, though.
