Playing with lights is fun, and this i the first time i try something like this. I will continue doing shots like this but I will "paint" the figures by myself then.

Is this a good shot at all? Or is it just confusing?

Hi Jim,

It's an interesting shot for sure, not my thing but a cool technique.

I've been checking out your posts and notice you mentioned in one that you were not getting many replies with lots of people looking. You will find you get many more if you post a photo rather than linking to one as people are often wary of clicking through.

Here is a link to the two methods of attaching a photo http://forums.steves-digicams.com/fo...amp;forum_id=2

Hope that helps.

Mark

Interesting indeed. Are you moving the light or the camera?
Multiple exposures or just one?

In this case because of that it was only a practice shot this I just moved the camera and I used one exposure.

hahaha I LOVE doing this, with flashing lights, bright lights ... ANYTHING I can find, I especially like drawing. :P

Take a laser light, something real fine, set up your camera towards a wall, make sure your picture will see EVERYTHING your drawing... then set your shutter speed to the LONGEST it can POSSIBLY go... hit the shutter button and FUN AWAY!

It's really simple once you think about it.. remember the camera see's what you see, so if your doing a face, you MAY want to turn the laser light off, and then on again to do noses, eyes, etc.
