Default My First picture

Hi All, I took this about a month ago when I first got my D100. It's the first pic I took with the camera. Hope you enjoy it.

I'm all about more cars being posted on Steve's so just keep up the good work. Not the best background, so let's see some more!

Thanks Josh!! I know what you mean about the background. I was kinda limited with what I could do. That angle was probably the best one for the shot. That was taken at a car show with about 300-400 cars participating. I'm a car nut also, so I was going wild with the camera!! I'll post some more if you'd like, when time permits, of course.

Yes please post more. Imports are my personal favorite, especially Japanese, but whatever you're most excited about.

Nice car : is it a Dodge Viper ?

I agree with Joshua, background ain't that appropriate.

Maybe shotting a little bit more on the left would have eliminated that backgound.
And maybe shooting at the right wheel height would have further highlighted the aggressive character of this beautiful monster.

Yes, brtsergio, that there is a Dodge Viper!! One of my favorite cars.
I agree about the background. Problem at the time was this. The car was at a car show with about 300-400 other cars. Luckily this one was on the end of the aisle. I wanted to just get the Viper in the shot, with nothing else around it. I pretty much accomplished that, except the background. Not much I could do with that. If I would have taken the pic at another angle, it would have had other stuff there that I didn't want. Oh well, live and learn I say. I welcome all your comments too. It helps me out alot.

I like your description of the Viper: A Beautiful Monster.
