Default I can see faces...

...

Of course it needs some imagination, too, but in a series of photos of a fire, I took yesterday, I could count several faces and demons or something like that.
But have a look yourself:
The pictures are original size, out of the cam.

How many and where can you count them?

PS: Don't take things too serious! As I said in the beginning: It's of course just our great imagination.

kex, you gotta be careful WHICH mushrooms you have with dinner!!
I love photos of fire, it's quite an interesting force of nature. "Backdraft" was so amazing as to how they captured the movement of fire & almost made it seem alive. Thanks for the shots, I'll have mushrooms with dindin & see what happens!

Kex,
Like hodad66 said, I need some of the same stuff you've been having.

Seriously, seeing objects in shadows etc. is almost purely idiosyncratic. Look at the the following picture from the island of Kauai. The mountain is supposed to show a reclining sleeping giant (sleeping on his back, head at the left). The picture isn't the sharpest since we're in a car travelling at about 50mph.
The tourist magazines all proclaim it but many people just don't see it.

Es tut mir leid, Herr Hermann Rorschach, aber Ich kann kein Gesicht sehen !

As far as the shots are concerned, I like those flames emerging from darkness.

Selvin, I can see some white rabbits in the clouds : perhaps I would not have had to eat those red berries

Seriously, I can somehow recognise several faces and demons or something like that.
Take a look at the faces I marked for you:

Michael Jackson?!!!

Somewhere I have a series of photos I took of the knotty pine walls in my basement and that I took just to document all the faces and scenes I've picked out in them. No mushrooms, no smoke, no poppies--just a meandering mind. It's soothing to know I'm not alone.

Kex, I agree with Sergio, I think we're treading into Rorschach territory.

Rabbits in the clouds, hmmm...
