I've been busy and haven't visited here in a while. I love the lab, that's the type of lighting I find really neat. And as far as noise reduction, I never quite got along with Noise Ninja, but I very much like Denoise.

I also tried them both and very much preferred denoise.

Our town of Mount Shasta, California hosts a three day July 4th festival that includes music, food, fireworks, entertainment, parade and a nationally known footrace that brings thousands to the event. Here are my five best from the three day event.

Great expression on the drummers face and the juggler.

I really like the Paris one as well. HDR? What is the location of the first one? Gorgeous.

The camera (Pentax DL) exposed it and then I tweaked it but without HDR. The first one is on the Mediterranean coast of Spain about a third of the way between Barcelona and Malaga.

Pboerger, great shots, all of them! I love doing people shots myself, and all three of yours are outstanding. I am a guitar player(40 years), so I can identify with your guy. Nice facial expressions in the others as well..I also like your fireworks shots, they turn out much better when you use a tripod. I shot some hand-held, and they were ok, but not like yours.

Lyrics51, these are some very nice images. I especially like the B&W portrait, well done!
