Not sure if these are even my top 50 but I was going through more pictures today that Ive taken recently since Im so backlogged and liked these. It was hard to pick 5 out of the section i covered this morning!

By the way this is more of a series than a best of 5 collab. These were all taken the same day with the Tamron 28-200

Thanks for looking. Ive seen great photos from all of you so far.

OOps i lied the last two were taken with the Tamron 70-300 on a different day than the others.

Some beautiful images in this thread!

A favoured landscape.

Something a little different.

Probably my best wedding shot (1993), shot on Hasselblad and scanned to digital.

Probably my best macro shot!

My favourite candid.

As others have said, I don't know that these are my best, but they are shots that I like. In chronological order:

Nice idea for a thread.

Here are my 5, Pentax DSLR folks will probably have seen all these before, and one of them won me a camera for November Picture of the Day.

1) Scarlet Ibis at the Niagara Falls Aviary in Canada.

2) 1970 Lola T210 driven by Dick Rothman at the US Vintage Grand Prix at Watkins Glen

3) Bee and Sunflower at Olcott Beach along Lake Ontario

4) Canadian Forces Snowbirds at the Rochester Air and Water Show 2009.

5) Jellyfish at the National Aquarium in Baltimore, Maryland.

Ronin, you've got some good stuff on your flickr page so you have nothing to feel bad about.

Ed, where was that river shot, very pretty.

With your wedding shots do you have a web gallery or anything as I'm always trying to get inspiration? Where did you take that one, it's a neat idea?

Please people do get involved, but also it is going to make this look better and be more inspirational if time is taken to choose what you deem to be at the top of your list. This is meant to be a showcase of the best (or very nearly the best) rather than just pop up something so you can join in.
