With your wedding shots do you have a web gallery or anything as I'm always trying to get inspiration? Where did you take that one, it's a neat idea?
Neretva River, Croatia.

No, sorry no gallery! I just have a few scanned images that I wanted to keep from my weddings.

It was taken outside the newish church at Crownhill, insert the following coordinates into Google Earth to see the exact spot 50 24 18 52 N, 4 08 05 80 W.

Thanks, it was regularly requested and I soon got fed up with it, although I did win a major award in the 90s with that image.

Would you like me to remove some of mine?

As I looked through my pics I thought I knew what 5 I would pick but as I put them in a folder and looked at some of my more recent pics I noticed how I am improving my camera skills and the ones that I thought would be in my top 5 didn't make it.

In no particular order, 5 of my best.

As I wrote earlier today, here are my five favourites so far... I've started in November 2009, so I haven't got that much to choose as you folks

Here we go, first the two landscape shots I really like:

#1 - Inspired By Spy

#2 - The Lonely Tree

Then, something I tried recently - my favourite bird shot:

#3 - Blackbird

Finally we come to the type of photography I like the most at the moment - my two favourite street shots... wanna thank Javier, Dave and the others for their help and inspiration!!

#4 - A Little Tenderness...

#5 - Having A Good Time?

If you liked what you see, feel free to comment and check out my threads here at Steve's or my flickr page - thank you all, you're such a great community!!!

Default This is actually a tough one!

You think you ought to be able to pick out your own 5 "best" - but once you start looking through the stuff that one has been posting for the last 6 months it not easy at all! Ohh, its easy enough to collect some 10-15 halveway-decent shots, but then comes the tough part - to choose which ones have to "stay behind" - so to speak.

Anyway - here are 5 of mine, from the posts this last halve year....

- 1) - Tranquil settings in the small fishingport of Papperhavn / Southern Norway. Shot with my P & S - Lumix FZ-28

- 2) - Frozen Pine-Needles.

- 3) - Sea Smoke raising off the tempered water in the river, du to the cold temperatures in the air - and sunrise behind a industrial park:

- 4) - The hard winter-ice is breaking up further upstreams and ice-floes are comin down the river, beaching when the tide goes out to sea.

- 5) - Rocks on fire - at Vikerhavn in Norway: The last posting of a series called: Panoramic Sunrise

Now they just came in that order when I collected them, so they are completly disorganized. They are not ranked in any way and there is no preferences to this ranging.

Still some very regular posters in the forum who haven't braved this thread, feel free to pm people to encourage them to play
