Greg, I don't have to tell you that I like dog pics, but man, that first one is perfect! Funny, but perfect. Great macro too.

This is a TOUGH one! It's like trying to pick your 5 favorite songs! And there are some great and inspiring shots on here!

Here are 5 photos I've taken recently that I go back and look at the most lately. Not the best shots, but I find them all interesting.

1. Bluebird coming in for a landing, Great Falls, VA. (Nikon D90 @ 220mm)
2. Fire dancer from Polynesian Cultural Center, Hawaii. (D90 @ 105mm)
3. Goose chasing another goose, Claude Moore Park, VA. (D90 @ 400mm)
4. Scott Wieland of STP, Borgata, Atlantic City, NJ. (Canon PowerShot a520)
5. My friend Miguel who runs DCFlamenco, Cafe Citron, Washington, DC. (D90 @ 105mm)

More outstanding pictures! There's just so many outstanding pictures being posted here, it's all a delight to the eye. And it's amazing how we all see things differently, and how that different view comes out in photography. This is such a wonderful idea!

I'm glad you are enjoying the thread Harriet, and I agree it is great to bring the various skills and styles together in one place. I'm enjoying it too.

Everyone, I hope that you are getting ideas together for the next installment, I'm thinking we will leave this run for a little longer so others can join (we still haven't had anything from some of our most prolific posters) then we can go for round 2.

I can't wait to see what that will bring, if this is anything to go by it will be interesting for sure.

Rodney, I've always loved that boat shot, with the lighting it makes for a wild image that goes so well with the subject. Glad you included it. The bird is a bit freaky though LOL.
