Default 1st image posted....Eiffel tower ,Las Vegas

This is my first ever picture post. It's a picture I took the first night we were in Vegas. I didn't have my tripod with me so I rested the camera on a railing and held real still, or so I thought. There's a little blur to it which taught me, that even though I would have sworn I was holding still the end result image tells the truth. I wasn't as still as I thought ! I guess thats why there are tripods . ...Dave

Dave, copy the link in properties of the pic you are going to display, click on the Img button then paste the link, then click the Img* button. ther should be no spaces between the 3 entries.
so it should look like this
spaces were added so it would not try to post.

dennis

oh, really nice shot!!!!

Default another try

Ok I'll try again. Here's another night shot. It maybe could use a little tweaking to enhance it. Steadied this one on a garbage can out on the sidewalk in front of Ceasers. I probably didn't look to professional doing it. Better remember the tripod next time.

Dave,

Nice night shots. They are razor sharp.

Thanks Selvin, I've been pretty happy with the progress I've made learning how to use my camera better. Not having a photography background though when I 'm not sure of what settings to use or experiment with, I resort to the P-mode and fortunately the camera does a pretty good job. The Ceasers picture is pretty good, but the eiffel tower pic is not that sharp when its viewed at a bigger size. A little wiggle on my part, but I'm learning.
