Default FYI for your vision

Hi all

This is not my photo but a scan from a magazine.

It very effectively conveys the effects of untreated glaucoma
(an eye disease) on vision.

It was such a powerful image that I wanted to share it with
all of you, given that our vision is so important to our
photography.

This is very important. I was just tested last week. Passed, no problems. It doesn't take very long to do the tests, so there should be no reason to get it done.

Thanks for posting digcamfan.

I just had a new eye exam too, not much change sine the last one 3+ years ago. I'm moving from contacts to glasses though, mainly for a change and to give my eyes a rest

The tricky part is when you don't have glasses/contacts. In some parts of the world you need a letter of your physician to get an eye exam (or pay it yourself). When one has first to visit his/her physician, one has to convince this person of the importance of an eye exam by eye doctor...All these things were set up to prevent unnescassery high health insurance costs, but work also adverse; One just let things go untill sh*t happens.
