Default "Sidewalk Catwalk" along Broadway

I'm not really into this sort of thing -- I pass it everyday and thought the mannequins were trash spilled from a closed department store or a fashion school project -- but I went in for a closer inspection and found them quite artistic. They required several skills to make -- cutting clothing to fit, molding plastic, cementing brick, not to mention a very creative mind.

In my opinion I think a white-walled exhibit hall would serve them much better than the gum-filled sidewalks, parked delivery trucks, and street-level scaffoldings acting as backdrop on the street of Broadway.

Then again, maybe that's what makes New York, New York. Diamonds are littered among the swine.

Anyway, this is what they have going on till September along Broadway.

#2) Topaz Clean did an excellent job in ridding the green pavement of gum.

Thanks, Hawgwild.

Yes, that guy was sleeping. He was the only one that didn't move while I took my time taking my bracket of shots, but I think there are many potential one-on-ones between real people and mannequins if you wait long enough.

#6) The guy kept moving but I forced his sharpest shot to show in DPHDR (thanks to Walter S for showing us how).

#7) Another shot of the "catwalk".
