1. Glass Ship in a bottle "Cutty Sark"
2. Washington DC Metro taken while visiting my Son "DC Metro"
3. Grasshopper in Loxahatchee Wildlife Refuge "Painted Grasshopper"
4. Snowy Egret on take off, made up of five images stitched "Snowy Egret
Pano"
5. In camera HDR of my home decorated for Christmas, small aperture makes
Moon look like giant star. "Xmas 2009"

Its not easy coming up with 5 good shots out of a few thousand. I didnt realize how much crap Ive produced.

Wow! The start of this thread is as outstanding as the other two threads. I'm awed with all these shots. There's at least one shot I absolutely love from everyone, but all are "candy for the eyes".

Here is a sampling of my 28,000 photos. The majority are mediocre to good. A few are excellent.

1. Southern Pacific 4449 Steam Locomotive
2. Black Sky caused by Polarizer. (The sky was actually bright blue.
3. Portland LDS Temple shot through fence ornament
4. An interesting shot of the Mosier tunnel in northern Oregon.
5. Stained glass window in the Vista House on the Columbia Gorge.

I haven't figured out how Mark did his layout so here goes in a vertical string.

Some great photos going up here, my prediction was correct, we are going to have another strong thread. On this page my favorites have to be snooked's ship in a bottle and Greg's very pretty model.

It's great to see the wonderful diversity of shots. Keep it up all.
