Default Photographing a paint

Trying to get the paint and some details and brush strokes.
Eos 7D. 15-85 mm. C&C welcome.

Just in case: I own the paint.

Camera, lens and a polarizing fiter really make a difference. Years ago i shot this one with a ps. Ugly reflections, untrusty colors. I still need a lighting set up and polarizing gels.
