Default 5 of the best - A showcase, part 4

It was September last year that I last started a 5 of the best thread with the first being just over a year ago. We've had some amazing photos shared, we certainly have some very talented photographers here. I've just hit 1,000 fans on my Facebook page I felt like a celebration of photography but sharing the fantastic work that our members produce at Steve's.

Please follow the same guide as before when posting.

1. Make a serious effort to choose 5 of your top photos not just the first 5 'OK' ones that you spot. Post the 5 photos in a single post not 5 separate posts so that people can easily see your photos and so we don't go over too many pages.
2. Don't post all the same style/genre, include at least 2 different styles so show your diversity.
3. Keep photos to a maximum size of 1024 pixels, but a bit smaller is probably wise to keep the size of this thread down a bit.
4. Only one photo post (5 shots) per member but feel free to comment in subsequent posts.
5. This is not the place to critique, beat up people etc, but friendly encouragement is always appreciated and welcome.
6. Get involved and don't be worried that some people might be better than you.... we all have this problem, none of us has mastered this photography game.
7. Enjoy the great work that the members here at Steve's are putting together.

If you feel like checking out the previous threads you can do so at the following links, but please now post in this one so everyone gets to see the new work.

5 of the best - A showcase, part 3
Another 5 of the best (hmm, so that is probably 5 of the almost best LOL)
5 of the best - A showcase

Default Always enjoy 5 of the best showcase

Hi Mark,

Congrats on getting 1000 friends on Facebook. That's got to be some kind of record. And, always happy to participate in your 5 of the best post as it's great to see what beautiful images the forum members come up with.

Here are 5 of mine taken over the last few months:

"Seeing daylight"

"Reflections"

"Bird on a wire"

Haupt Conservancy

"Echo"

Great job for getting stuck in guys, some good shots building up.

Don't forget to look at the past 3 threads that you can find in the first post of this thread if you haven't done so previously, they are pretty impressive.
