I got rid of some of the haze with a couple defogging steps in Photoshop.

The sky is a nice blue in Photoshop and also good when I display a TIFF of the modified image in Irfanview, but the added JPG compression leaves it less than ideal in this view. pbase converts a TIFF to a not great quality JPG, hence the crappy sky. No way to show a good sky on the site with the original artifacts not being enhanced without just painting or replacing it.

Mid day sun is one of the least favorable conditions for nice, saturated colors and the low contrast effect you got is as would be expected. You could boost the saturation and contrast of selected areas should you so choose, but it's still a pleasing picture as it is.

without the spaces. Make sure to put .jpg after the URL pbase requires that.
