the 10D is pretty seriously outdated in terms of features and capabilities, but it still takes beautiful photos. the low pixel density gives it a smooth, clean quality similar to the original 5D. and as long as you don't plan to make huge prints, 6.3Mp is still relevant, even in this day and age...

Indeed Rocky- the 10D's getting on a bit- though is still capable of nice smooth textured shots (dare I say akin to film...!).
Where it feels it's age is its processing speed and for use above iso 400.... but still good out in the field for landscapes/portraits... and still swift enough in the AF department for the odd sporting shot or two...
I just love how it feels....

Good for you tdredi.... I've had one or two of those fine camera's... and you have the benefit of the EF-S mount...!
