A few pics from my recent wanderings around Perth.

Took a walk around Kings Park this morning.

These two Corellas had just vanquished a pair of Lorikeets in a battle for a nesting hole.


The Lorikeets regrouped in the next tree wondering if it was worth a return bout.



One of my favourite trees in the park, now in full leaf.


Avenue of memorial trees


The Everlastings are in bloom all over the park


As are the Kangaroo Paws


It is hard to keep the weeds down


This guy was watching yet another stoush over a nesting site, this time between Lorikeets and Galahs


A few Spider Orchids already in flower


These look like caterpillars but are the larvae of a sawfly a member of the wasp family
