Default Playing Quarters

Here's a picture of one of my friends making a nice shot while playing quarters. (Hey, what else are we college kids supposed to do...... learn? ).

Cropped and USM'ed slightly in PhotoShop.

This one isn't quite as good, but I thought it was interesting how the suface isn't disturbed even though the quarter is in contact with it.

And these shots weren't really "planned." I just got a focus lock on the cup and waited for people to shoot. I have a lot of misses documented too.

lol, I guess you're right. What I did is pretty much the definition of planned. I guess I just meant that weren't playing quarters with the initial intention of taking pictures. I always document parties and this seemed like a great thing to shoot at.

Oh, yeah that was definitely planned since it's the object of the game. Bounce the quarter at the glass, if you make it you give the glass to whoever you want. Decievingly simple, but always amusing.

I actually am partial to the second shot. The novelty of the instant of contact with no disturbance really draws my attention.

I liked the first photo until I saw the second! I agree with Gandalf065, I like the second one best!

Agree, the second shot is amazing. What are the odds of EVER catching that again?
