If you know the background you are going to drop the car in then try to match the lighting so the shadow looks right. I would use the background image on my monitor and put the car in front of the monitor and with controlled lighting shoot both the car and background in one shot.

So is this a composite of 2 or more photos or is it a single shot. If its a single shot what did you do to it to make it look like the car is pasted in. The bottom doesnt look right around the wheels and the shadow.
