Default Rusted Rails

I'm not putting this in the Digital Art forum (even though it should probably be in there) because the main focus is the picture, not the editing.

What do you think?

Very nice, JaroDefer.

You might consider a trip to Hanlontown, Ia (near Mason City) on THE day of the year when the rails glow orange, weather permitting.

There is a festival there each year to commemorate the "glow".

It's my picture btw. Thanks for the comments though.

I made a hue/saturation adjustment layer and desaturated the picture, then I masked off the rails to bring the color back. Along with the other general adjustments like levels, contrast, and USM.
