Nice shot kex. The weathermen here have been promising thunderstorms but there's no sign of them yet. :-)

Wow! Kex, that is sooo weird cause just the other night, me and Ames (discodudette, but I think you all know who my twin is by now, hehe) were talking around midnight, when this idea flashed in our heads to take pictures of the lightning. So we went out to take piccys, each of us only getting one good picture each. I shall have to post them soon....

But great picture! I love the silohette of the clouds! It reminds me of Zeus!

Great shot! Much better than my very best one. Maybe mine were so bad because I don't know where my tripod is!

Wonderful shot and the sky is such a pretty purple color!

thanks all for your nice comments!
vito, it's not a crop, but I enhanced (not changed!) the colors a little bit, but who doesn't.

yep, almost.
I wish there was a place with less trees. There is a good place for that, but I wouldn't go out with my tripod and lil' cam when there's such a heavy storm and thunder outside.

Kex, great capture

Your trees in silouette enhance pic, not lessen it, imho.

I would clone out the power lines tho...17,000 volts should not even consider competing with ten million volts (lightning!).
