Well I know the FZ1 (v2 FZ2 upgraded) is for ZOOOOOM shots mostly but I have been playing at home before I really take it outside for a spin. I am a newbie so I do have questions.

I was only able to capture this using burst at 1/50 shutter speed at ISO 100 I believe. But I had to use the flash and it caused this bluish haze rather than the real image of the bathroom which did in a weird way make the photo cooler in my eyes but I do wish I had captured the reality. Perhaps its my white balance? Any thoughts on how I can capture water droplets in action a bit closer etc. I did not use a tripod.

A tripod would be a good idea. The focus here is soft on the droplet, try prefocusing (focus on where you think the drop is going to be (use a pencil eraser or something)) next crop the picture so 'we' see only what your trying to show. Last is resize the photo, making the longest side no larger than 600 because really large photos take a really long time to download for dial up users.

Try this one again and post the results. Keep shooting, posting. . .oh yeah, and welcome.

Thank you soo much for the tips. I will be trying that out soon. I made the image smaller for now at least to have a comparison for later when I try again. I will be setting up a tripod and setting the white balance correctly and the prefocusing you mentioned! All great tips. This is all new to me so I am just trying to have fun starting at home with stuff before I try outside hahaha...
