Yes i saw it kex, unlucky but they aren't the team they used to be. Mind you they're in some good company with Spain and Italy also going out. The world cup will give them the chance to prove themselves, it's only two years away. By the way that young Germanleft back looks a good player.

Yes, Lahmthat's him. He was one of the best players on the pitch last night. I had an idea Rudi would quit, who's up for the job next.

Oh, if you insist. I'll take it.

I'm sitting here hoping no-one remembers my comment about Portugal.

The German fans seem to be taking it well, from what I've seen.

Another England fan was stabbed.

I saw something about another stabbing. I hope you're right about Portugal not being a good team. :-)

Hitzfeld will be the next coach for the german team. he's the former coach of Munich.

What a game Portugal - England!
Awesome.. this one's gonna be in the history books!

I'm sorry for England that it finally didn't work out well for them.

In the end, the better team won.

PS: Why the heck did Beckham shoot the first penalty?? Maybe that was one of the major faults.

Yes, i agree Portugal were the best team after Rooney went off injured. I knew we'd go out when it went to penalties, we nearly always do. One more thing, what was wrong with the goal we scored at the end of 90 minutes. Thier goalie ran into our defender as the ball was headed in and he disallows the goal and gives them a free kick. I've never heard the commentators use the wordCheated before tonight. A perfectly good goal which would have won the match disallowed.

I typical England display, negative and rubbish. We sat back and expected 1-0 to be good enough. But how biased was that ref? He didn't loss us the game, but he did help Portugal win.

Yes, avatar updated.

I agree ferny we didn't play well, but after 90 minutes we had two goals and they had one. The difference being a refereee, the linesman gave the goal. I can't get my head round how we were robbed like that.

ferny, you were quick updating your avatar, did the ref ring the result through to you before kick off. :-)
