It is more believable. It is the sort of thing you find in a garden centre. It would have 25 pages and cost £7.98.

You can do better. Go get lost!

Eight quid for 25 pages, that's a bit steep. I reckon you're paying for the fancy cover.:-)

Interesting portrait for a book cover. I am wondering is there a possible chance I could create a book cover for you with the same picture? I love making covers for things. Dont remember how many covers Ive made for cd's and small poetry books but its enough that I lost count.
My idea is to title it vertically in either the old english font or something with a wood like texture. Most likely old english with wooden texture. Since the wood is probably oak Ill find a dark shade of wood close to it. For the most part I was just wondering if it were possible that I see what I can create.
If you allready have it published then there is no reason for me to give it a try. Maybe I should put up some that Ive created as samples.

You may have been a little misled James. There is a forum on here called "Weekly Photo Challenge" where bcoultry sets us a challenge every two weeks and we do our best to meet it. This is an entry by Mark (jackrussell) who wasn't a member at the time it was set. He posted it here because it would have messed up the Challenge forum which currently has a different challenge running.

This is the post where the book cover challenge was set.

James this is only a challenge photo i was playing with. If you like i'll put a copy of it on here without the writing and you can have a go with it. I'm just trying to learn photoshop, that's why i had a go at it. Will you put the result of your work back in here then i can have a look. Thanks. :-)
