Can you post it here directly? I went to seeit and even though I am still 56k it took 10 minutes to load 1/2 of it... maybe why no comments yet.. IMHO... lighting pics are enjoyed here very much... dale

Hi,

A few thoughts - I am also fascinated by lightnings and here is what I do to get best results:

1) tripod - a must !

2) longest possible exposure use manual mode - close iris to the max. Adjust your exposure to get a dark image of the landscape without lightning.

3)adjust focus manually - try somedistant objects

4) once you are lucky and there is a nice lightning when the iris was open - you can obstruct camera's vision with something not toget too much light in.

Attached here isan example what Idid using this method.Please bear in mind that the lightning shot was'mixed' with a building (just a try), but the lightning was shot as specified above.
