Some more pics to share with all of you. Constructive comments welcomed.

Terry

From a train station, some images just look better in B&W, I think.

It's all a matter of perspective.

I love the reflections in the windows here.

I like the DOF on this one and what is the woman on the right staring at intently here?

Hi Terry;

Good job. Looks like you are fitting in well here. I'm still interested to see the advanced modes of the 7590. Looks like a great camera.

Regards,

Tom, on Point Pelee, Canada

Tom

I'll be out and about today shooting. I have already used the manual modes but have not posted the pics. Today I will take some especially for you though in A & S to post.

Hi Terry;

I know from my experience with the 6490 that the auto modes produce some very nice shots, but the PASM settings really unlock the power of the camera. I'm sure you'll be really pleased with the results.

Regards,

Tom

I am preparing a series of shots to post later or tomorrow probably. At first glance I have to say I think auto did the best job of the lot, though I need to study them more. I ran the range for A & S and a fully manual shot as well.

Terry, I really love your shots as they each really tend to tell a story. Nice composition IMO. I especially love the first one and the one with the "intent" woman (wonder what's going through her mind?). Nice camera from what I can see. I just bought the 7440 btw and have yet to explore its capabilities. I need to buy the add on lenses and definitely a book to explain all the settings, what they do, and how to take advantage of them since the manual is so crummy. (Yes I'm a total novice)

Anyway, keep it up, very nice work.

Doug

Thanks for the look and comments. I do try to tell stories with my photos and glad it comes through to you. I too like the 1st one of the old guy. I'm a big fan of older peoples faces because of the character it adds. To me each line and wrinkle is like a road map of their lives.
