I took this photo this week. It was minus 20 degrees C. and nothing was moving. The bay is filling with ice and it is threatening to snow at any moment.
Canon 10D, 100-400mm, ISO 200, 1/750, 9.5

Thanks. It was actually colder than -20 as the wind was blowing as well. It was a good test for the digital camera and lens. I was the one who gave up first. As tough as it is on me the gulls in the foreground have it tougher. Consider they have to sit on the ice or in 0 degree water and don't get to go inside like us. Anyway it will be another 3 months of winter so hopefully more winter shots to follow.
