Went to a car show this weekend with my husband and a few friends. One of my friends is a professional photographer and helped me with some of my angles and such. The images she helped me with is the purple bike and the reflection in the hubcap. What do you all think? I was trying to get pics or angles that are unique. And don't be afraid to pick them apart. I know some need A LOT of help, but I'm still learning. :-)

Alphie, for the most part these are super (and that's from someone who's not a car freak :-)). The only criticisms I would have are:

1. first photo - DOF - would have been nice to have it all in focus since I consider the bike engine part of the subject and not a background element.

2. The third photo (a chevette?) nice car and nice angle but the background is not very attractive. I know you had little or nocontrol whatsoever over this, just thought I would mention it.

Otherwise, they're great, and love the effect on the last one.

P.S. You going to explain that foot or shall I let my imagination run wild?

very nice work!

i LOVE 2 and 4...the reflection in the wheel was a great observation, and makes for a very nice photo!

and then the camaro in black and white...

i would like the whole front light in the camaro...but it's gorgeous with the b/w, and reflections and stuff

good stuff alphie

Thanks everybody. And Suze, I'll just let your imagination run wild. :blah:

Hey, Vito thanks for the suggestion. The reason why I didn't add the headlight was because of my husband's reflection in the bumper. But I did some quick editing and with bright contrast you can't see it too much. What do you think?
