Awesome!! Dc,dc2, dc3, dc5, dc6, dc8 and dc9. My favorite is dc6. These pictures show imagination.

Are you a kid? Wow, those are some great pics. You've got a photographer's eye.

I'm out.

DC5 is especially poignant to me...

It is as if a grandaughter or a great niece seeks the name of her grandfather or great uncle on the wall.

It is a tribute to her that she makes the journey to honor the fallen.

I like the one of the USA flag backlit by the sun also.

Yes, I agree...you have a good eye.

There is a rating for Photographer's Mate in the USN, btw

It is a comfort to this forum member, a man in his 50s, that a youngperson like you would not only seek out history but also seek to honor it with your photos.

Thanks, Travis.

Travis,

When I was your age, in 1963, I joined the Navy. Although I did not serve in Southeast Asia, some of my shipmates did and some are on the Wall. I am honored that you and the young folks in photo 5 visit the Wall to pay your respects for their sacrifice. Even now, I cannot look at a photo of theWall without getting choked up.I am sure that, forty years from now, the then current "younger generation" will pay their respects to your contemporaries who serve their country. Whatever path your life takes, make sure you keep your camera handy..... you certainly know how to use it.

Thanks for the photos,

Bill

I was there Sat., there was over four hundred thousand people there that day. The Cherry Blossom festival and the cherry blossoms were beautiful. Your pix are great.
