this camera belonged to my grandfather, i don't know much about it but i think it looks really cool

Any tips on how i can make the photo better would be appretiated :idea:

Great looking old camera. Looks like a similar type to an Agfa my father in law used. He worked around the world in the 30s, 40s & 50s. Unfortunately, we can't find very many of the photos he took during his time abroad.

Wow! I have two Solinettes--one 35mm and one larger (620, maybe). Yours looks like my bigger one.

For the Kodak, maybe a background that's all one color would work better. The tile and wrought ironare a little distracting. Nice camera, though.

That's a 35mm camera. After getting it out of the drawer where it has been stored for many years, I put some film in it yesterday, and took a few pictures. First time that camera has had film in it in about 25 years. Not too bad considering:

I collect some of those old folding cameras. Amazing that some are 6 x 9 format, which results in a huge negative.

I find the lenses on the old cameras are prone to flare and don't deal with contrast very well. Generally the lenses aren't coated.

Other than that, it's fun to use the old cameras.
