I'm not sure which of these I like best.

...or this. The scene looked so old-fashioned that I felt it needed more of a vintage look to it. (My apologies to all photo-purists.)

Oops... How about that off-centre title... I really was going to fix that.

Thanks, I was kind of unsure about the crop in the original composition. I wanted it wide, but wasn't sure how wide to go.

Well the first one makes me say "Hey! That's Rankin!" The second one makes me say "What a neat picture."

So I guess it depends the emotion you want to stir with your photo. Is it one of familiarity or is it just an artisitc presentation?

hhmmmmmm.............that was deep.

:-)

i like the second one's vintage look but it also looks 3D which makes my brain think it's animated! so my brain can't make up it's mind. is that a pun?

That's Rankin alright.:-)The tractor itself was a bonus. I was driving by and saw the bison, and and sort of planned a composition with the solo bison wina wide angle view. But when I turned around to take the shot, the tractor was right there, so of course I had to include it.

Thanks Rose and DD. It's not a pun,but it is sort of an oxymoron or a conundrum or... ahtoo many big words for a hot summernight. :-)

Cheers,

Hard to say which one I like better, Tom. After looking for a time, I think I like the 1st one better. That is a really nice shot..great composition.
