Attached is picture of the steam loco Black Prince taken at the Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Railway on 6/8.

The loco is standing at Winchcombe station. The picture was taken using a Fuji S7000 on a tripod, the original was in RAW format and in colour. The cropping and conversion to black and white was done in Photoshop.

I've not been taking serious photos for very long and am very proud of this picture so I'd love to know what other people think.

Cheers,

Steve

And so you should Steve. Very nice photo.

The B&W conversion gives it the feel of being taken in the days of old, when the Loco was in full service, (I presume it's not now).

Thanks for posting.

Regards,

Steve.

Thanks for the reply and the encouraging words.

In case you are interested the loco is preserved on the Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Railway and runs quite regularly there. She's owned by David Shepherd the artist and every now and then he can be spotted on the footplate.

Cheers,

Steve
