I know, background a bit busy !!

Frankly, I couldn't be bothered to do anything, just thought you could admire this fine machine.

Especially like the subtlety of the understated British paint job.

Oh, well, it was to be expected since they were bought by Ford.

I saw one at an indoor car show in Fort Worth, Texas a couple of years ago. Poor lighting and busy background, so I masked it.

Yes, Brian, a little understated .

A nice touch to it's British, and Coventry, rootsbut I'm glad we don't see a rash of these on the road. I actually think it spoils the look of the car :?.

OK, OK, very nice cut out, but I still can't be bothered :blah::blah::blah:.

I presume 'your' Jag was for an ex-pat Brit. I wonder if there is a stars and stripes version cruising around the U.S. ?

A stars & stripes version? Haven't seen one, tho Ford may be demanding equal time in the paint shop.

I'm a compulsive car photo addict (27,850 digital shotsto date) and travel extensively around the USA. Have yet to come across one.

Walter,I'm presuming the 27,850 shots of cars are not all different models:-).

Yourinspired me to dispense with my inertness. For now anyway .

Thanks Caroline.

Though I have to admit the beach scene is not mine, but comes from a disc of royalty free images, so I can do pretty much what I like with it :-).

If it was my pic, I wouldn't have spoiled it with a Jag with a gaudy paint job .

Steve

Cool shot! Hope it has GPS on board.

My 27K car shots ARE of different vehicles, although some are the same vehicle from different angles. I'm involved in an endless task of organizing and categorizing them by manufacturer, year, model, etc. For example, I have over 4,200 Chevrolet photos and 3,800 Ford photos.

Only one Jag with a British flag, tho.
