I came across this Kodak Hawkeye camera and flash (sold separately back then) unit at a garage sale last year. They were in their original boxes. $5 each. Now for some 620 film and Kodak B-C flashbulbs.

My mother used to chronicle our families exploits and milestones with one of these.

I have one too, and some bulbs. You can feel the heat from those things from 10 feet away!

Hey, Tom

I was in Monroe just a few weeks ago. Home of Genral Custer. Nice town.

Hey, it's our newly-painted water tower Do you have family in Monroe?

The church where Custer and his wife were married is still in use. It's right across the street from the courthouse, where my wife and I were married 18 years ago.

I like Monroe. It's a small town, but everything we need is very close, and it's very bikeable. There's some kind of flying shindig at Custer Airport this weekend,so I'll ride my bike there and lock it at Munson Park right next to the airport.

No family in Monroe. I was there on business, helping The Salvation Army do some strategic planning. Enjoyed my stay.
