Winter has been tardy this year, but at least we got a good downpour of snow today, managed to get an inch before the rain washed it away.

This was a weird shot. I think it's pretty cool when you look up at the sky and the flakes are heavy and big. Shot this on auto with the flash on. I was under a sign so that's how I managed to keep snow from getting on the camera. All photos in this thread were taken with a Canon A75.

Another shot of the snow coming down HEAVY. How come there isn't a forum devoted to weather photos, like snow, thunderstorms,etc?

Or cloud formations. I love taking pictures of clouds because they're like snowflakes, no two are ever alike.
