Default Boats Wake

The wake from a boats propeller at 1/2000 of a second. I like it for the way it brings out the plasticity of the water.

Thank-you Klaus, I'm glad you like it. It was a very good day for light, allowing me to get up to 1/2000.

One question though, on the CP4500 at 1/2000 the shutter speed turns red unless I reduce the apparture setting. None the less the camera seems to work ok.

Do you know what this means ?

No not exactly.

I think it could be that the shutter is too slow or/and the aperture too small. This means that Nikon has decided that the relation between the shutter (here 1/2000) and the aperture (size ?) is uneven and will cause a shaken photo...?! It didn't in this shot because you may have a steady hand for shooting!

but then again - I dont know for sure. You have to look in the manual.
