Nice shots. I especially liked 'P1010089000.jpg', the night waterfront scene.

What's the scoop on '1111.jpg'? Were you holding the camera tilted, or is that the effect of wide angle lens (or both)? I'm a total newbie myself so I'm curious.

I wondered too about the the tilted shot! When doing so its nice to know why - I dont see the point either!

I think the composition (photo 111.jpg) would be much more sucessful if you had taken it on a different time of day, like early morning or late afternoon. The lighting conditions at those times, if taken in side light for example, would give much detail, color, and depth to the buildings. Currently, the photos look to be on the over exposed side.

I agree with you gmlasam. Also the main problem in shots like these is the white sky. They leave no mirroring in the glass and are pretty boring viewing. Blue heaven and big cotton sky would be better.

Well, i liked this pic P1010089000.jpg but i think the buildings are a bit blury. I dont know if u did it on purpose but the weather doenst help either.

P10100788.jpg - blury too, even the focus subject

111.jpg - Nice but the light gives it a very could look. If that was a stone in a cemetery, with that back light the pic would be great!

I'm a newbie too, so i cant help u very much but u need to work your the night shots. Try the using smaller fstop's or smaller speeds
