Default Panasonic 12x vs olympus C730?

the comparisons between oly 2100 and the panasonic are interesting, how about comparing the panasonic with oly c730. willl the pana give better image due to better lens despite fewer pixels-2 vs 3.2? have tried oly 720 and considering 730 but interested in image stabl. and possibly better lens of panasonic.:?

The old oly and panasonic have an optical stabilzier, the new oly doesn't so you would have to use a tripod at longer zooms.

just my 2 cents

Consider that the Panasonic is basically a "point and shoot" camera with only automatic settings. I like the IS, but compared to the 7xx Olympus series, it lacks the aperture, shutter priority and manual settings.
